ClearCycle™ Cast Acrylic Sheet Specifier Resource Guide

ClearCycle™ Cast Acrylic Sheet. The Choice is Clear.

Start with the right material

Specify ClearCycle™ Cast Acrylic Sheet by name, then record colour, thickness, sheet size and application. It is made with 80% post-consumer repolymerized PMMA by total sheet weight and is GRS certified.

Define the sheet you need

Standard sheet size: 1,219 × 2,438 mm (48 × 96 in). Standard stock thicknesses: 3 mm (0.118 in), 4.5 mm (0.177 in), 6 mm (0.236 in), 9 mm (0.354 in), 12 mm (0.472 in), 18 mm (0.709 in), 24 mm (0.945 in). Confirm colour and thickness combinations, quantities and delivery timing before issuing a purchase order.

Select colour with a physical sample

Clear 0000; Light White 2447; Solid White 3015; Sign White 7328; Bronze 2412; Bronze 2370; Grey 2064; Grey 2074; Black 2025; Light Black XXXX; Yellow 2037; Blue 2051; Red 2039. Approve a physical sample in the intended lighting. Screen colours are visual guides.

Review evidence for the supplied grade

Use the ClearCycle™ Cast Acrylic Sheet technical data sheet alongside the project requirements. Typical values measured on 6.0 mm sheet are reference values, not specifications for every thickness or colour. Redco™ offers a Certificate of Conformance to these standards upon request. Fire, smoke and building-code ratings are listed in the technical data sheet with the test method and tested thickness for each. Confirm that the selected thickness falls within the tested range.

Specifying for glazing

Define the application, panel dimensions, colour, thickness and framing system together. Coordinate design loads, thermal movement and compatible installation materials with the project designer. Include the technical data, approved sample and applicable warranty in the project submittal.

Explore the possibilities

One material. A wide world of applications.

From a single display to an architectural installation, ClearCycle™ Cast Acrylic Sheet gives project teams a versatile material to shape, finish and specify. Start with the application, then select colour, thickness, fabrication and supporting documentation.

Signage & wayfinding

Dimensional letters, flat sign faces, directional signs and branded wall panels.

Specification focus: Select colour and thickness for the viewing distance, mounting detail and print or lettering process.

Retail & merchandising

Point-of-purchase displays, product risers, display stands, shelving and countertop fixtures.

Specification focus: Match panel thickness, support and joints to the display load; approve edges and finishes.

Exhibits & presentation

Display cases, shadow boxes, object covers, picture framing and trade-show installations.

Specification focus: Define visibility, access and cleaning. UV-filtering conservation performance requires separate evidence.

Interiors & furniture

Room dividers, decorative partitions, furniture elements, millwork accents and feature panels.

Specification focus: Coordinate supports, exposed edges, cleaning and applicable interior-finish requirements.

Glazing & daylighting

Interior glazing, secondary window panels, wind screens and project-designed greenhouse or skylight panels.

Specification focus: Specify loads, framing and thermal movement together. Exterior and overhead assemblies require project-specific design and code review.

Lighting & illuminated signs

Illuminated sign faces, lightbox panels, decorative lighting covers and backlit features.

Specification focus: Compare physical samples under the actual light source. Confirm diffusion, light transmission and heat exposure for the selected colour and thickness.

Industrial & equipment

Instrument covers, viewing panels, equipment housings and fabricated component panels.

Specification focus: Assess temperature, chemical exposure, fixing details and maintenance. Impact containment and safety guarding require separate suitability assessment.

Creative fabrication

Art panels, set pieces, presentation plinths, decorative forms and custom display components.

Specification focus: Plan cutting, routing, printing, bonding and forming trials. Check warranty exclusions before specifying heat-processed parts.
